POEM: The Dawn of Mercy

I was inspired to write this while being part of the Celebrate Mercy movement.

Did you know there is Wisdom in the alternation of the days
In the setting of the moon as the sun casts out its rays?
Did you know there is an Answer
To the Question that burns in our souls?

When you feel the burdens of the world weighing on your shoulders
When you feel overcome by the heaviness of your plight
Remember
Just as the night's darkest hour precedes the very brink of Light
"After every hardship, there is Ease"

So when life tests your strength and patience
Take notice of the passing of the nights to the days
Listen to its whispers of God's Promise of Relief and Flight
When the Dawn of Mercy returns all to Right.
